Bill Gates organized an enormous session to recruit a new Chairman for Microsoft Europe. 5000 candidates assembled in a large room.

One candidate is our Kutty.

Bill Gates: Thank you for coming.Those who do not know JAVA may leave.

2000 people leave the room.

Kutty says to himself,’I do not know JAVA, but I have nothing to lose if I stay. I’ll give it a try !’

Bill Gates: Candidates who never had experience of managing more than 100 people may leave.

2000 people leave the room.

Kutty says to himself ‘I never managed anybody by myself, but I have nothing to lose if I stay.. What can happen to me ?’ So he stays.

Bill Gates: Candidates who do not have management diplomas may leave.

500 people leave the room.

Kutty says to himself, ‘I left school at 15, but what have I got to lose ?’ So he stays in the room.

Lastly, Bill Gates asked the candidates who do not speak Serbo-Croat to leave.

498 people leave the room.
Kutty says to himself, ‘I do not speak one word of Serbo-Croat but what do I have to lose ?’ So he stays and finds himself with one other candidate; Everyone else

has gone.

Bill Gates joined them and said
‘Apparently you are the only two candidates who speak Serbo-Croat, so I’d now like to hear you have a conversation together in that language.’

Calmly, Kutty turns to the other candidate and says
‘Naatil Evidey ?’ (Where are you from in Kerala?)

It is not a new movie trailer, It was an incident which happened this morning at my home, my second son was sleeping in the bedroom, I just stepped out of the attached bath room of my bedroom, all I could hear is glass shattering scream from the hall and it sounded like my elder son, my wife who was in the kitchen, cooking ran towards the hall.

At first, I thought it was some kind of prank, Yes he does often. But this one sounded little odd. And the multiple screams did make my wife’s leg shake in fear, Neither she didn’t understand what was going on.

I wasn’t wearing my powered glasses but did see some black kind of thing moving just around the corner of my bedroom. I was bit worried for my sleeping second son, I didn’t panic.

Still the screaming was going on, my wife inquiring for reason. I started to laugh and my second son woke up.

I had nothing to worry, It was a god damn squirrel, After 3 long days of rain, which just stopped and I believe it was in search for food. Happen to smell some thing from the Kitchen, After hearing my elder son screaming, The squirrel panicked, ran helter skeltor and then entered the bedroom for safety.

Gosh, It was one hell of a drama this morning. By the way the squirrel is still around my bedroom, I guess he wants to setup a sweet home on my bedroom loft.

This is my second time I have paid the price for being early adopter, the first one was my Mahindra Renault Logan and the second one is the G-Mark induction stove.

Let me tell you why induction stove is still not yet ready for the Chennai or the Indian market.

As you can see the bill and the date of purchase and if you want to know where I bought it please follow this link, I am sure, I have to be ashamed of myself. The reason is that I bought an unknown branded electric appliance from a fair and not at a shop, for which I really paid the price.

How?
The next day the G-mark GM 91 induction stove did not work. It got over heated and started to rest in peace. So I had to call up the mobile number  next to chennai address mentioned on the bill. No answer on the mobile phone. So searched the internet and found the website, called up their headoffice, no answer. Then finally my phone call was answered by the Tirupur branch, Guess what was the answer. “Please send us the product by courier to our office and we will fix the issue and send it back to your residence as soon as we fix them up”

On what trust will you send the product by courier. And who will bear all the courier charges, as a grieving customer will I have some more guts to send the product by courier with out a receipt.

So I called up the mobile number 9790527557 for Mr. Sherif Hussain which is mentioned on the bill. Narrated the whole story to him and he promised me to fix the induction stove by a week time. But that did happen after repeated calls and finally got it replaced after a month. Sad isn’t.

That was reason 1 which I had stated above, now to continue with the problems. Why Chennai or India is still not ready for induction stove, people have been used to the rugged gas stove, you could handle ruff and tough and it would just last long.

As far as the induction stove is concerned, you have to pamper the stove. Trust me, I have not even pampered my two sons just the way I do it with my induction stove.

1. I cannot place oval shaped vessels, only flat ones allowed
2. I cannot place aluminum or ceramic  vessels
3. 25 Kg is the limit
4. placing heavy object with care on the stove, very slow, I mean that. The reason, it could break the circuit right at the center.
5. Should not tilt them as the circuits could break apart as they are loosely coupled when they are hot. 
6. Using more than 1000 Watts for heating could land you in trouble. The induction stove may rest in peace.

The next time you wish to buy an Induction stove, please buy tested, proven and branded one and above all which provides you with good service

Happen to read on Google CEO Eric Schmidt vision of Internet in the next five years, from readwriteweb. It is good read. My feeling is that, when there is no distinction between internet, TV and radio.

The search would be based on Video content. What I meant was, people will have to say the words and the search engine would have already converted/ extracted the text information from the video and that will be made search-able.

That is what I believe Google and Microsoft will have to think about for the next step in search engine. I believe that is how the future will be.

No it is not a crime seen, don’t have search for any evidence. It is just the window of my bedroom, it was bit dark, and my neighbor outside wall was reflecting on my window. Jesus I loved this frame.

My son just dumped this guy in to the paper holder, was a kind of looking cute.

I have been thinking of this shot for a long time, so I took this while I was traveling by train.
