Well for the first time I thought why are people been making del.icio.us of google video. A close watch revealed this video search site. This search engine can be really helpful, Look at the previous popular searches made.
Productivity – Big or Dual screen
My office friends use to ask why do you increase the display area, don't you think you will spoil you eyes?
Well actually no if your monitor has good refresh rate of 75 – 85 HZ it is really kewl, Currently I am on 1280 X 960/ 32bit/ 60H, Well I always need a break every hour or so.
There have been times my Boss would ask me if your machine was slow, do you want a laptop which is of higher config. I have actually been blunt, and replied "the screen is too small on our laptops" (15" max 1024X768 32bit). I couldn't even think, what kind of nightmare I would face If I ever said OK.
I believe the key to being productive is Large display screen and decent speed computer (mind it the graphics card is damn important, not those Intel ones). well here are some facts which will shed you some light on the screen.
Apple has come up with 30" display, and they serious boast of by saying

I am currently not bothered about the productivity, imagine the user experience, less strain on the designers and developers. I actually don't mean that I don't want to be productive. I want to be, at the same time you brain doesn't need to remember to many things when you can actually compare and look at the things at the same time instead of flipping ALT + TAB
I am still wondering is dual monitors better than the huge jumbo display. If somebody knows much of it, do share your thoughts

Well how about a MP3 Player, All you need is to make the selection, voila you hear your favourite music in your ears. The microphone is inbuilt in your ears so that when a phone call comes you can attend them, while your music is automatically paused. Here are two of my concept for the mp3 players

Flash Aqua Button
I have been crazy about the Aqua Button, which are been used in Apple Macintosh OS interface. I usually work on the flash IDE and thought why not give it a shot.
Here is the result, feel free to make comments.
1) choose oval tool create a circle on the stage give the stroke width of 5 pixel
2) Select the shape and Choose any gradient of your choice
3) Open the color mixer (Press Shit F9) and check for the setting specified in the above image
4) Apply the same color for the stroke
5) choose you bucket tool (Press K) and fill the shape by holding your mouse key as specified in the above image
6) Now make a copy of the “fill” shape and hold the “ALT” and drag and drop, a copy of the same shape is made
7) now press ctrl + Alt + s set the option specified in the above image
8) The above is the result of the option, the gradient just flips vertically
9) now you need change the value of gradient in the color mixer panel so that the white area is less and the color is more, check the settings in the above image
10) now create this small shape as symbol so that when you place the small shape on top the big shape it will merge. choose F8 to convert to symbol and place the small shape on top of the big fill.
11)here is the result
12)now select the entire symbol and press F8 to convert to symbol
13) now you can play around with the color option available on the properties panel (press Ctrl + F3) select the advanced from the color option.
14) voila Aqua buttons ready
